The 2016 All Component Caucus has been scheduled for Friday, November 4, 2016. All delegates to the CDA House of Delegates are invited to attend, along with the CDA Treasurer and CDA Speaker of the House. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The caucus rules are attached for your information. Components are encouraged to send their delegates, particularly new delegates, to this meeting as a learning experience for the HOD.
Please feel free to send in resolutions that you are considering for submission to the ‘House’ if you would like a straw vote taken on your proposal. Remember that this meeting is a sounding board for your thoughts, ideas and resolutions.
Please e-mail resolutions to: john@tcds.org, as an attachment or fax your resolutions (in proper format) to 951.787.9703, no later than September 16, 2016. If you bring your resolution to the meeting, please be sure to bring 100 copies in resolution format for consideration by the caucus.
This year’s CDA House of Delegates is scheduled for November 11-13, 2016 and will be held at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa located at 900 Newport Center Dr., Newport Beach, CA 92660.
If you are unable to participate as a delegate please let us know so that we can notify the alternate as a replacement.
In addition, please confirm that you will need a hotel room at the Newport Beach Marriott and indicate how many nights.
