Community Outreach – How Your Support Helps as a Volunteer and Donor

To protect the health of volunteers and patients, CDA Cares Long Beach has been postponed until public health officials deem it is safe to reschedule. The CDA Foundation is pursuing new ways to support the oral health of all Californians during this time.

CDA Cares - The California Dental Association and CDA Foundation host CDA Cares, a program that allows volunteer dentists, with the assistance of other dental professionals and community volunteers, to provide dental services at no charge to an average of 1,950 people at each event. www.cdafoundation.org/cda-cares

Children’s Dental Health Clinic in Long Beach - The Children's Dental Health Clinic is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality basic and specialty dental services, including oral health education, to economically disadvantaged children, ages 0-19, in the Greater Long Beach and South Bay areas. CDHC link: http://www.cdhc.org/   .

Assistance League of Long Beach (Orthodontics Program) - The new Children's Center opening in Fall 2019 will enable the orthodontic services to expand, serving low and moderate-income children, increasing the number of patients in braces from 700 to 1000. The HDS Foundation is a Creating Smiles campaign donor to support the success of this program. www.allb.org
