Thursday, Apr 30, 2020

Important notice

To protect the health of volunteers and patients, CDA Cares Long Beach, which was scheduled for July 17-18, 2020, has been indefinitely postponed until public health officials deem it is safe to reschedule. The CDA Foundation’s dentist-led board is pursuing new ways to support the oral health of all Californians during this time. Stay connected to our CDA Cares Facebook group and watch for email updates. Learn about other ways CDA is helping the profession respond during the COVID-19 pandemic at cda.org/covid19.

CDA Cares, a two-day free dental clinic is coming to Long Beach July 17-18, 2020 at the Long Beach Convention Center. Harbor Dental Society and the Harbor Dental Society Foundation are thankful, grateful, and excited to see the major commitment and generosity from our own member dentists and with our valued counterpart California Dental Societies and Foundations along with the key public sector supporters including the Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn as a flagship sponsor, Councilman Darryl Supernaw of the 4th District of the City of Long Beach along with the business and their foundation community charitable grants to help put on the CDA Cares Long Beach.

n to help the under-served public receive oral healthcare treatment and preventative oral healthcare education that is desperately needed in the community. to call upon Harbor member-dentists and their valued dental teams along with other Dental Societies throughout California to volunteer and donate to make a positive impact on the children, unemployed, underprivileged families, homeless, veterans and others who don't have access or have barriers to receive dental care treatments. This is where commitment and collaboration brings the community together to make a real difference. Thank you in advance to all of the generous volunteer dentists, oral surgeons, dental hygienists, dental assistants and lab technicians and community volunteers who will be coming out to deliver smiles that make a lifelong positive impact.
